This is a temporary contract opportunity with The Cigna Group through Magnit, an enterprise third-party vendor for contingent work.

JOB TITLE: Administrative Assistant Senior Representative  

DEPARTMENT: Network & Clinical Operations

UNIT/SECTION: National Operations Administration 

REPORTS TO: Administrative Services Supervisor

 

ROLE SUMMARY

This position performs advanced administrative duties which include, but are not limited to, new hire onboarding ticket submissions, manual letter creation, printing and mailing to customers, providers and facilities, printing system generated letter requests, data entry, reception line coverage, and miscellaneous projects. We are a support team for Behavioral Operations. 

 

MAJOR DUTIES

  • Manages tasks that are assigned to the NOA Requests Outlook mailbox and NOA TruCare queue. 
  • Manages incoming calls through the switchboard from customer, providers, and others, to route them correctly to the appropriate call teams.
  • Processes daily system-letter printing and prepares manual letters for the mailroom.
  • Sorts incoming Behavioral Operations mail and packages.
  • Complete additional tasks and projects as assigned.
  • Participates in various meetings to keep abreast of changes affecting the administrative staff.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school education or equivalent, plus one - two years of business school or related training preferred.
  • Must be proficient in using Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point
  • Possesses the ability to learn new applications efficiently to process work tasks.
  • Administrative skill level gained from at least three years’ experience, preferably in the insurance industry.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills; strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact well with diverse personalities; detailed oriented.
  • Requires ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, and apply judgment in interactions with internal staff and external staff.

 

Hourly Pay Rate Range (dependent on location, experience, expectation)
The pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay for this position is: $24.00-$30.00/hr
