Description:

This position is a temporary assignment. As a contractor, you’ll be employed by Magnit, not The Cigna Group or any subsidiaries of The Cigna Group.
 

Location/Schedule: 

100% onsite in Whitestown, IN. 
Flexible to work on-site and virtual environments as well as work on a team with staggered schedules and on-call rotations. (Schedules and time will vary based on business needs).
 

Responsibilities: 

Delivers professional activities in the IT Support job family with a focus on Technical Support. Under direct supervision, assists in designing, developing, testing, debugging and implementing operating systems components, software tools, and utilities required for the operation, maintenance, and control of computer systems. Assists in modifying existing software to fit specialized needs and configurations, and maintains program libraries and technical documentation. Applies standard techniques and procedures to routine instructions that require professional knowledge in specialist areas. Provides standard professional advice and creates initial reports/analyses for review. May provide guidance, coaching, and direction to more junior members of the team in Technical Support.

Other Responsibilities:

  • On-site support for all executive technology-related needs.
  • Installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of desktops, laptops, telephony, and other related technology devices.
  • Research, test and evaluate new technology products. 
  • Develop proactive ways to avoid potential problems and automate maintenance tasks
  • Contribute to company-wide technology projects.
  • Maintain a high level of customer focus on all interactions.
  • Provide timely, creative, and alternative solutions to meet business needs.
  • Maintain detailed documentation on all issues handled.
  • Probe and uncover customers’ underlying issues.
  • Provide rotational support coverage.
  • Actively share knowledge and offer assistance to teammates.
  • Implementing changes and updating or writing SOPs
  • Help support the pharmacy automation machines that runs the Home Delivery production systems for the pharmacy.

Skills and Qualifications: 

  • Ability to interact comfortably with senior leadership.
  • Networking: Cisco and Avaya phone systems, Networked Printers, and Cisco VPN.
  • Networking: Cisco and Stratix switches, servers and data networks, IP telecommunications systems and Audio Visual.
  • Extensive knowledge of Active Directory
  • Remote connectivity applications: RDP, Video Conferencing Systems, and virtual platforms such as WebEx.
  • Experience to get things done through formal channels and informal networks.
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Operating systems, especially Windows 10, Apple computers and operating systems.
  • Aptitude and interest in learning new technologies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Capability to establish credibility quickly by following up and taking initiative.
  • Experience to use rigorous logic and methods to solve difficult problems with effective solutions.
  • Possess an insatiable appetite for learning; continuously pursuing new skills that add value to the team’s knowledge base.

Education and Experience: 

  • High School diploma: bachelor’s degree or 3+years of job-related experience preferred.

 

Hourly Pay Rate Range (dependent on location, experience, expectation)  

The pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay for this position is: $26.00/hour-$35.00/hour
